Richard Krieg, Pastor, was born and raised in Washington, DC. He received his calling into ministry in 1973 and married Theresa in 1974. He graduated from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida and continued his education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary garnering a Masters in Religious Education.

While in college and seminary he served as a youth pastor. His first full time position was Minister of Education at First Baptist Church in Camdenton, Missouri. In 1986, he moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and in 1988 was called to the pastorate of Greenwood Baptist Church in Conway, South Carolina where he was their pastor for 25 years.

In 2013 he joyfully accepted the call to be the pastor of Red Land.

Richard and Theresa are the grateful parents of two daughters: Bethany and Kaitlyn.
